SPS / IPC / Drives 9 Hall, Booth 310
The compact safety PLC RFC 470 3TX of PN Phoenix Contact was designed for the control and meets the highest security category. The safety system has Ethernet and Interbus interfaces. Up to 170 PROFIsafe devices are coupled and a comprehensive diagnostic concept is also available.
The safety control meets the categories SIL 3 (EN ISO 61508), SIL CL 3 (EN ISO 62061), PLe / Cat.4 (EN ISO 13849) and Cat.4 (EN 954). The hardware-technically decoupled Profisafe safety controller checks the safety logic for consistency and correctness before a safe output is set. The safe "Safetyprog" tool, which can be integrated directly into the PC Worx engineering environment, is used to program the safety logic. A simulation mode allows the comprehensive testing of the standard and safety logic before the program is played on the hardware.
Due to its function as a Profinet IO controller / device, the controller either works as a superimposed Profisafe PLC in a Profinet network or can be addressed as a Profinet IO device by a higher-level Profinet-compatible controller. If it functions as a Profisafe PLC, the user can connect up to 170 Profisafe devices depending on the telegram length of the Profisafe devices.
The fully graphic diagnostic display built into the safety control displays the status of the individual operating modes as well as error and diagnostic messages in plain text. With the diagnostics software Diag + as a component of PC Worx or stand-alone solution, a comprehensive diagnostic concept is displayed on the PC.
