The programmable safety controller "SafeLogic compact" of Rexroth enables the efficient, safe and compliant processing logic in compact machines and small to medium sized plants in concentrated space. The modular safety control system meets the requirements for SIL 3 to EN 62061 and Kat 4 PL e in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 and fits all areas of factory automation.
The modular solution grows with the size of the peripheral signals, can be easily configured and programmed by graphical wiring of function modules. The provider expands with SafeLogic compact portfolio of solutions for integrated security systems. The modular safety system consists of safety CPU, -E/As and relay and interface modules.
For quick and easy adjustment to the individual application supports engineering tool "Safe Logic Designer" for the design, programming and commissioning. For the configuration of the peripheral assigns the user the sensors and actuators simply drag and drop from the library to the inputs and outputs. Through the allocation of peripheral components, it determines the necessary parameter settings for evaluation and fault detection. A comprehensive function block library simplifies the implementation of standards-compliant graphical wiring. The integrated offline simulation support for troubleshooting and verification of the application. The report function facilitates the complete documentation for the validation.
All information is stored in memory and can plug in case of an exchange components simply transferred to the new controller. SafeLogic compact can be integrated easily into the overall automation. Safety switches, contactors, valves and the safety functions of the electric driving range "Indra Drive" can be directly connected. Interface modules such as Profibus or Profinet allow the exchange of control and status information between safety and standard control. In addition, up to four SafeLogic compact controls are securely connected to each other to share sensitive information.
