Sensors with laser light sources offer many advantages if small parts are to be reliably detected or objects measured. With sensors of the laser class 1 (new standard according to IEC 60825-1: 2014) demanding applications can be realized without risk potential. The advantage for the user lies in the safe use, because according to the given limit values no damage to the health of the human eye can occur. Sensors with laser class 1 provide maximum eye safety in both short-term and long-term exposure, even if the beam cross-section is reduced by optical instruments.
The line laser light scanner with background suppression from the series LLH 51 200 M G3-T3 has a laser line, which allows the capture of imprecise positioned objects or objects with outbreaks. The up to 30 mm wide laser line allows z. B. the detection of PCBs with breakthroughs in sensing distances up to 200 mm.
