The absolute Motor feedback encoders "EFL580 bite C" from Baumer provide signals of the highest quality thanks to high-precision mechanics and optical scanning. The highly integrated design and standard on-border use of components the EFL Series also offers low cost and long life. The user is therefore provided reliable products with the highest quality at competitive prices.

Encoders for the lift industry

For accurate rotor position detection, the optical sampling provides an absolute position by default with 13 bit singleturn resolution. In addition, Sincos signals with 2048 periods per revolution are available. For purely digital speed detection, position resolutions up to 21 bit and fast transmission with clock rates up to 10 MHz are optionally possible. In addition to a high transmission reliability through CRC checksum, the open high-speed protocol Biss C offers bidirectional communication for acquisition and preset of the absolute position as well as various diagnostic options.

The opto-asic integrated in the EFL series combines all basic functions of optical encoders such as position detection, signal processing and communication interface in one component. The highly integrated design and the reduction of components additionally improves the service life as well as the shock and vibration resistance of the encoders. The Shaftlock bearing construction, which has been proven over 15 years in combination with robustly dimensioned high-quality ball bearings, protects the internal sensors from axial impacts or loads. Downtimes and repairs are thus avoided and a long service life guaranteed.
