The "Sendix Heavy Duty H120" encoders with the special "HD-Safety-Lock" design by Kübler were specially developed for use on large engines and for the exact determination of the speed at the generator. The encoder has accurate and reliable optical sensors and is one hundred percent insensitive to magnetic influences.
Resistant materials, including seawater-resistant housing, a wide temperature range from -40 ° to + 100 ° C, a high degree of protection (IP66 + IP67) and a high shock (2000 m / s2, 6 ms) and vibration resistance (150 m / s2, 10 ... 2000 Hz) ensure insensitivity to the harshest environmental conditions. The connection technology allows an easy and fast installation.
The heavy duty hollow shaft design is extremely robust and has integrated shaft insulation. Thanks to the screwed-on housing, the flange mounting is also extremely stable. This also applies to the bearing structure. Here, mechanically locked bearings with a wide bearing distance, which are also particularly large and robust, ensure the desired strength.
The protection against dust and moisture is very high. This is guaranteed by a shielding cover plate on the shaft and the high-quality radial shaft seal. The insulation integrated in the bearing design (no insulation inserts required) is tested to 2,5 kV and thus guarantees high running accuracy. Connection metal to metal for one for a slip-free assembly.
