Contrinex presents with the C44 a flexible switch type with swiveling sensor head and protection class IP 69K among others for the automotive industry. Particularly robust miniature sensors are according to the manufacturer the smallest fully integrated inductive sensors on the market. There is also an HF handheld read-write head to complement the high-frequency RFID system.

The C44 inductive proximity switch in the industry-standard cubic housing is extremely powerful. The swiveling sensor head can be aligned in five different directions and is thus very flexible during installation: the user can adapt the sensor to the application and not vice versa. Four fully visible LEDs provide information about the operating status at all times, and tool-free installation reduces installation time to a minimum.

The sensor has protection class IP 69K. In conjunction with an extended temperature range of -25 ° to + 85 ° C, this guarantees reliable switching even in extreme ambient conditions or when used in outdoor applications. Thanks to the variants with increased switching distances of up to 40 mm, the distance to the moving object can be increased so much that mechanical damage can almost be ruled out. This increases the life of the proximity switch. The C44 is suitable for use in the highly automated processes of the automotive industry and conveyor technology. But as part of the sophisticated technology of modern rides, which must guarantee absolute safety under harsh environmental conditions at all times, the long-life sensor ensures safe operation.

The miniature sensors are extremely compact, have a low weight and withstand high loads. They are highly functional and work almost completely reliably even in the smallest of spaces. They are suitable for all applications with limited space. Typical fields of application are robotics, automated tool changers, micromechanics or linear drive technology. For extreme requirements, there are high-pressure miniature sensors in the sizes M5 and M8.

The HF handheld read / write head supplements the high-frequency RFID system, allowing the user to read the data contained in a data carrier anywhere and make any changes on site. The handheld HF works under the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system and includes all PDA standard programs. It is equipped with a 1D / 2D bar code reader, a high-frequency RFID read / write head and the "Con ID HF Handheld" software tool.
