mtsThe "Temposonics" MTS IP69K connector system is now universally available for all M Series sensors. Developed for reliable position measurement in mobile work machines, these sensors can be fully integrated into the hydraulic cylinder. The click-mounting without tools saves valuable assembly time and increases the security of the sensor installation. Within seconds, the sensor is installed in the hydraulic cylinder and electrically connected. Time-consuming contacting of the wire leads, possible reverse polarity or cold solder joints are a thing of the past.

First developed for the sensor model MH - the standard sensor for mobile hydraulics - the connector system quickly found application in the manufacturers of hydraulic cylinders and mobile machines. Thanks to its further development, the compact Temposonics MS sensors and the redundant Temposonics MT sensors now also benefit from the ease of installation and safe connection to the machine electronics. The plug system meets the highest protection requirements according to DIN EN 60529. With its IP69K protection, its sturdy metal housing is not only completely dustproof, but also prevents water from getting inside the cylinder. Even the toughest cleaning measures with high-pressure equipment can withstand it.

The plug system is delivered pre-assembled together with the M series displacement transducers, ie its contact carrier is already connected to the wire conductors of the sensor. Through a corresponding hole of the contact carrier is led out of the cylinder and the flange housing simply plugged from the outside. When installing the sensor-cylinder unit in the mobile machine, the M-series sensors can then be connected via a universal M12x1 connector in different angles. Due to the minimal overall height of the plug system, the cylinder can be installed even in confined spaces.
