Posital is expanding its program with the new ACS II models Inclinometersbased on MEMS technology (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems). Thanks to the protection class IP69K, the devices, which ensure shock resistance up to 100 g and vibration resistance up to 10 g, are also suitable for adverse environmental conditions: they withstand even high-pressure cleaning and can easily be used, for example, in mobile machines.
ACS II sensors are designed for a wide temperature range (-40 ° to + 85 ° C). The extremely compact devices open up considerable savings potential for users, as they allow inclination values to be recorded directly, ie without mechanical coupling with drive elements. In addition, the detection of multiple axes with only one sensor can reduce the design effort compared to other solutions, eg. B. by saving assembly and couplings. A simple, highly robust design opens up new possibilities for users to cost-effectively use sensors in mobile machines.
The tilt sensors are available with a range of ± 80 ° or 360 ° and offer a resolution of 0,01 ° and an accuracy of 0,1 °. In addition to a CANopen interface, an analog, SSI or RS232 connection is also available. The communication parameters can be set via the interface.
