With the "Data Suite" offers Insys Icom a flexible software package for its professional router series MRO and MRX, which complements the smart devices with extensive functionality for the collection and processing of application data. The current 1.2 version of the software now also allows the processing of Lua scripts and opens their functions for Codesys controllers and networks.

This not only enables the Data Suite to network devices such as controllers or HMIs based on Codesys Runtime of the V2 or V3 generations, but also to capture, monitor and process their application data.

With the Data Suite, Codesys controllers or other devices based on the runtime environment can be efficiently integrated into and linked to infrastructures via TCP (V2 / V3) and via Codesys Gateway Server (V3). Parallel access of other instances such as Webvisu, programming tools are still possible. By networking and processing data points, a large number of software-based applications can be implemented quickly and without configuration knowledge.

The data from Codesys controllers and devices are recorded independent of the manufacturer and the manufacturer. Logic or arithmetic functions are available for their processing. In addition, state monitoring applications can be implemented via timers, flags and an event handler. Current values can be visualized via a local, browser-accessible dashboard and transmitted to Scada, ERP systems or clouds such as Cumulocity, Telekom Cloud of Things, Centersight and other clouds.

For applications that require even more flexibility, the vendor has implemented a runtime environment for Lua. This makes it possible to start Lua scripts event-driven in order to flexibly and individually combine Data Suite functions. The Data Suite software suite is a core element of the Insys Smart IoT platform, opening new applications, services and business models.
