The CAN WLAN module from CAEMAX Can now easily and reliably transmit CAN bus data wirelessly from one or two CAN bus nodes via WLAN. Even with maximum utilization of both CAN bus nodes, all messages are transmitted without data loss.

In the case of temporary disruptions or breaks in the connection, the data is automatically buffered in the module and the transmission is repeated. Up to 32 MByte RAM are available for this purpose. Since all CAN messages are provided with a time stamp, the time allocation can not be lost.

The WLAN transmission can be made to an access point or directly to another WLAN subscriber such as a notebook, PDA or another QIC CAN WLAN module. The module is therefore very well suited as a wireless interface between a network of QIC modules and a mobile receiving or control unit.
