The Matrox Imaging Library MIL 10 R2 for Linux (Sales Rauscher) supports the latest versions of Linux distributions Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, 14.04 Ubuntu LTS and SUSE Linux Enterprise 12. Among the innovations in the 3D image processing include the calibration of several light section and camera systems for a collaborative function, a more robust algorithm for detecting signal peaks and a new 3D-surface detection tool.
New in 2D image processing are additional image preprocessing, additions to the ID mark reading and verification tools, color-related calibration, a dedicated circle matcher, and speed optimization. The use of Linux as the basis for image processing systems is increasing. With the tools of the MIL R2 for Linux, programmers can significantly simplify and speed up their application development. MIL / MIL-Lite 10 R2 for Linux is available to users with a valid maintenance subscription via the automatic update service. The developer software is also available for evaluation.
