The Thermal Imaging Camera "PI 1M"Is the latest innovation from Optris in the range of their camera range. In addition to the well-known advantages of the provider's infrared cameras, such as compact size, USB interface and license-free software, the PI 1M has some unique selling points on the market: continuous temperature range from 450 ° to 1800 ° C, frame rate up to 1 kHz and various modes of resolution / frame rate.

The camera is designed for temperature measurement on metal surfaces, graphite or ceramics. Compared to other thermal imaging cameras in their class, the large temperature measuring range is continuous, ie usable without sub-ranges. This eliminates the need for measuring range switching in many applications and makes the camera significantly more flexible.

The highly dynamic CMOS detector allows a maximum resolution of 764 x 480 pixels at a frame rate of 32 Hz. The ultra-compact infrared camera can be switched to 382 x 288 pixels at 80 Hz or 27 Hz and 72 x 56 pixels at 1000 Hz for fast processes. This allows the camera to be operated as a fast pyrometer. The center pixel can be output in real-time via an 0-10 V analogue output with a response time of 1 ms, which corresponds to the high-performance thermometers.
