mitsubishi0117The FR-E-A800 by Mitsubishi Electric now has a function for Smart Condition Monitoring (SCM), With it, users can now perform condition monitoring directly in the converter. The preconfigured SCM kit can be easily integrated into existing applications.

The FR-A800-E frequency converter with integrated control unit supports Smart Condition Monitoring (SCM) via the SCM Kit-1 inverter. The preconfigured plug-and-play solution comes with an FAG "Smartcheck" vibration sensor from the e-F @ ctory partner Schaeffler FAG equipped. It can be expanded to up to two vibration sensors and can be upgraded with an HMI from the GOT series. It can be retrofitted to a motor, a pump, a fan, a gearbox or to rotating machine parts for vibration analysis.

The integrated PLC in the FR-A800-E acts as a sensor controller. Thus, preventive maintenance can be carried out directly in the frequency converter with the FAG Smartcheck without having to use a separate sensor control. This solution is currently unique in the market, as the integrated operating unit displays current machine status information as a status directly on the FR-A800-E frequency converter. About an optional HMI GOT2000 In addition to detailed status information about the current machine status, maintenance suggestions, alarms with timestamp or trend data can be displayed. The wiring effort has been minimized.

In addition to the SCM Kit-1 inverter, the technology is also available as an SCM Kit-1 COMPACT version and then consists of a preconfigured control cabinet with sensor controller, a touch panel with multilingual display and pre-assembled vibration sensor.
