Baumüller shows automation components for the production, assembly and handling technology. The exhibits, consisting of inverters and motors, including control technology, modular software and services, show both a broad product portfolio and the number of variants, for example, for handling systems is possible using standard components.
As a systems supplier, the drive specialist designs the hardware and software according to customer requirements and prepares for problem-free integration. In the hardware and software development, among other things with web capability and variety of interfaces, the networking of machines and systems is always in view.
New and existing machines are being made fit for Industrie 4.0. The example of a DSDI small servo motor, in which the control and power electronics are integrated directly into the engine, shows at the trade fair stand how freedom in machine design can be achieved with a compact design and at the same time space, cabling and costs are saved. Various control components, such as box PCs with HMIs and PLCs, which can be used to control the handling system via the central machine control or alternatively as a separate unit, round off the automation components on display.
The multi-axis controller "B Maxx 5800" specially designed for robotics and handling applications supplements the converter portfolio. By combining the six independently controllable axes in one controller, the communication in the system is significantly faster than with separate axis units. Independent of the branch and thus for numerous industrial applications, the decentralized servo drive B Maxx 2500 can be used. The compact flexible drive solution only causes a low wiring effort.
