WEG is further expanding its automation portfolio in Europe. The many new products are proof of the growing importance of the automation segment. The highlight here is the newly developed CFW300 frequency inverter series, which, due to its simple handling and design, represents a cost-efficient solution for applications with low motor power.
It completes the existing portfolio of different CFW series in the lower power range, so that the suitable frequency converter is available for almost every industrial application. In addition, the CFW500 inverter series has been extended by a new size for the rated power range from 18,5 to 22 kW, and the CFW701 and CFW11 family of inverters are now in IP55 protection for the first time. Further innovations such as the CFW100 miniature converters with EMC filters and MW500 distributed drives of size C with outputs from 5,5 to 7,5 kW await the visitors in Nuremberg. In the field of low voltage switchgear, the portfolio of motor protection circuit breakers of the MPW series has been expanded in connection with the introduction of new CWB contactors and new variants of the CSW command and signaling device family are also shown.
