Renesas Introduces its New RX111 Motor Control Kit These inverter reference solutions are designed to drive any 3 permanent magnet synchronous phase synchronous motor (PMSM, also referred to as brushless AC motors). You save time in development, since the tuning of the engine parameters and the determination of the optimal coefficients for the tuning algorithm are eliminated. The kits run an AC permanent magnet motor in less than 1 min, greatly reducing time-to-market.
The RX111 kits are based on the RX family of 32-bit MCUs running at operating voltage of 3 V and providing 50 DMIPS processing power at 32 MHz clock frequency. The RX111 reference kits are designed for mid to high dynamic performance devices with low BOM cost. The kits provide up to 7 Amax at 24 VDC and have been tested with more than 30 different motors. On request, an external power level is also available, which is fully compatible with the existing RX220 and RX62T inverter kits. The kit solutions provide the required dynamic response for highly accurate motor control.
