How easy the world of drive and automation technology wants to be Lenze show: The company supports Lenze mechanical engineers in all phases of the development process and throughout the entire life cycle of the machine, from idea to aftersales, as well as optimizing existing or developing a new machine. The new servo inverter i700 for multi-axis applications is a recent example of this.
It brings a significant simplification in assembly, commissioning and engineering with it. The drive system has a number of advantages as a central component of the controller-based automation system: compact device volume, simple assembly concept, connector wiring, intuitive software tools and maximum dynamics for a wide range of applications. The first expansion stage comprises single and double-axis modules in the power range from 0,37 to 15 kW. The matching power supply modules are equipped with a brake chopper in the factory and usually require neither filter measures nor DC fuses. The DC bus connection is made between the devices without wires via an innovative rail system and simple turning of hangers. The i700 servo inverter supports the entire range of motor technologies from standard three-phase to synchronous servo motors. Using the central engineering interface, it can be easily integrated with Ethercat in automation architectures.
Growth in control technology brings a maintenance-free panel that combines control, motion and visualization in one device. It is suitable as a control and visualization system within the controller-based automation for applications with central motion control or can be used as a visualization device within a drive-based automation system.
Ethercat is also available for decentralized drive solutions. The motor inverter series "8400 Motec" will launch three new power classes. With 4, 5,5 and 7,5 kW, the rugged frequency inverters with protection class IP 65 are especially recommended for simple hoist applications in intralogistics as well as applications in compressors, pumps or fans. The Motec is particularly efficient when combined with the MF three-phase motor and a Lenze transmission. Thanks to the "VFC Eco" energy-saving function, the 8400 Motec Drive Package ensures efficient use.
