Baumueller1211Baumüller has further developed the servo drive "B Maxx 3400" and is now offering the B Maxx 3300 the new generation of high quality servo drives for small drives in two sizes with optional manual control unit. It is compact, highly dynamic and energy efficient.

Like its predecessor, the B Maxx 3300 with integrated position control is designed for the smaller power range up to 5 kW, for applications such as packaging, textiles, robotics and handling. New is the implementation of the safe torque off, short STO (Safe Torque Off) in the controller. Thanks to this safety function, the engine no longer receives any energy in an emergency and therefore does not generate any rotational movement. Taking into account the guidelines EN ISO 13849 and EN 62061 through integrated safety up to SIL 3 (Safety Integrity Level) and PL e (Performance Level), "Safety first" becomes reality.

Field-oriented control ensures very good concentricity and the higher-level speed and position control for dynamic and accurate positioning. The B Maxx 3300 is designed, among other things, for operation with the servo motors DSD and DSC up to frame size 100 as well as the disc rotor and linear motor series of the manufacturer. The number of cycles of the applications and thus the production output of machines and plants is increased.

The environment benefits from the high clock frequencies up to 16 kHz, which allow a more precise control and significantly reduce the noise emission of the machine and thus the burden on the environment. An optionally available hand-held control device gives the user full access to all parameters without additional operation via external components such as PC and software. This enables fast service intervention as well as uploads and downloads of data records.
