Designed for multi-axis applications Servo inverter i700 from Lenze simplifies installation, commissioning and engineering. In addition to a simple assembly concept, the drive system is characterized by its compactness and flexibility: dual axes ensure minimum device volume and dynamic motor control allows a wide range of applications.
Thanks to intuitive software tools and a central engineering interface, the i700 can be easily integrated into automation architectures via Ethercat. In combination with the 3200 C controller, it forms the core of the Lenze automation system for machines with central motion control.
In the first expansion step, the servo inverter includes single and double-axis modules for the power range from 0,37 to 15 kW as well as suitable power supply modules. A plus point is the simple wiring through connectors. As a rule, the supply modules do not require any filter measures or DC fuse and are factory fitted with a brake chopper. The DC bus connection is realized between the i700 devices without wires via an innovative rail system, which can be produced simply by turning brackets.
The i700 reduces space and components compared to similar products and offers easy mounting and cabling. It is designed for engineering via just one interface. The automatic download of parameters and firmware as well as autotuning functions for a quick start-up simplify the engineering additionally.
The i700 supports the full range of motor technologies from standard three-phase to synchronous servomotors. With extremely low cycle times (250 μs in position control) and a signal resolution of 32 bit as well as an overload capacity of more than 200 percent, the servo inverter is suitable for highly dynamic and precise multi-axis applications, such As in handling and packaging machines, robotic applications or for simple positioning tasks. The i700 is available with all common cooling techniques (cold plate, puncture technology, built-in devices).
The integrated safety functions also simplify engineering. "Safe Torque Off (STO)" is part of the standard offer, and for the implementation of extended security concepts, a device variant will be available in the future, such as SS1, SS2, SOS, SLS, SDI, SLI, offering the highest level of security (SIL 3, PL e) via Ethercat (FSoE).
