A-Drive offers with the "Idea" series a programmable linear actuator. Its drive is a stepper motor with integrated output stage in the housing size 42 mm or Nema 17. Thus, the system house covers numerous applications in which a particularly compact drive that is easy to parameterize is required.Idea-Drive programming uses a patented graphical user interface (GUI) that is intuitive to use via on-screen buttons. All the drive parameters can be assigned to this surface and the power supply for running and holding operation as well as starting and braking operations can be controlled. The supply voltage is 12 to 48 VDC. There are four opto-isolated digital inputs and outputs for signals from 5 to 24 VDC. The power amplifier has a mini-USB interface.
In these drives, the spindle can be designed with or without anti-rotation lock and moved with an external nut. The version with double stator achieves a thrust of 337 N. Due to the microstep operation, particularly fine gradations in the positioning are possible. This is particularly advantageous for applications in the optical and laser industry, the filling or even in imaging and processing methods. The microstep is selectable in increments up to 1 / 64 of the full step. With the single stator the step length is thus between 3 and 48,7 mm and for the motor with double stator 15,8 to 127 mm. The entire series complies with the RoHS directive.
