Two trade fair innovations characterize the appearance of Yaskawa: The Sigma-400 7 V servo drives are experiencing their world premiere, and a new generation of frequency converters will be presented live for the first time. The development of the new servo drives focused on two goals: consistently simple and correspondingly fast commissioning and maximum machine output with high precision.
The prerequisites for this are created by intelligent functions such as auto-tuning, automatic load adjustment or integrated vibration suppression. The book-shaped book-style case also supports the seamless side-by-side installation of multiple amplifiers in a small space. As a result, a high power density in the control cabinet can be realized. Sigma-7 now also offers machine builders and end customers in the manufacturing industry a powerful answer to current market requirements in the 400 V version.
The trade fair innovations are integrated in the "Total System Solutions" concept. Modular combined products and software from the business units Drives & Motion, Robotics and Vipa complement each other to form technically uniform automation solutions from a single source. Integrated system architectures from visualization and control to drive technology and robotics enable optimized operating concepts and simple device selection. Another strategic focus is the topic of "Green Energy": Current innovations for energy-saving automation range from highly efficient IE4 motors via regenerative converters to smaller and lighter robot manipulators.
