SPS IPC Drives Hall 3, 250 Stand
WEG presents for the first time in Europe a dynamic servo drive model as an integrated complete solution. It shows five synchronized servo drives, consisting of servo drives SCA06 and servomotors SWA, which achieve highest precision in their positioning tasks. In addition, other automation components such as contactors, circuit breakers, an HMI, a touch screen, motor protection switches and pushbuttons are installed in the simulator.
The five-axis servo exhibition model shows five servo drives whose positioning tasks are synchronized on the basis of an electronic cam control (CAM). The communication between the drive units takes place via CAN open. One of the five servo drives acts as a master and one as a slave, which implements the same positioning sequences as the master. Two further drives are synchronized with the master via CAM. The last drive is not synchronized, but moves - following the defined procedure of the model - at a certain time to a defined position. The entire programming, including ladder diagram programming with preprogrammed function blocks and CAM control, takes place via the WLP software and is implemented via the PLC functionality of the servo drive. The programming software is available for free via the WEG website.
