Thanks to special power and control electronics, absolute sensors and an integrated position controller, the "Drive Line" compact actuators from Siko are particularly well-suited for set-time-optimized format adjustments. In the new Actuator AG25 The Industrial Ethernet fieldbus interfaces Ethernet / IP, Profinet, Ethercat and Powerlink have now been integrated. They allow the flexible construction of a wide variety of line and ring topologies. Via the additional digital inputs and outputs, further signals from external proximity switches or limit switches, pulse generators, HMI devices can be detected, actions initiated or output to signal units.
The AG25 allows automatic adjustment of formats, stops and tools as well as many other comparable positioning. Areas of application are everywhere where positioning tasks are to be achieved decentrally in the machine or system with as little space and light weight as possible. The actuator can be flexibly integrated into various machine designs. No additional material is required for installation. The programming effort as well as set-up and setup times are minimal, so that a fast activation is possible. The AG25 has a stainless steel hollow shaft with a diameter of 14 mm. It is mounted directly on feed and auxiliary axes.
The integration into different security concepts is very easy to realize with the AG25, because the power supply for the control and power electronics takes place separately. The higher-level PLC is significantly relieved by the integrated control electronics. In addition, monitoring functions for temperature, current and following errors are already integrated in the drive.
