Interpack Hall 15, Stand E34
Baumüller shows drive-based and PC-based control technology that enables web-based operation and monitoring concepts. With integrated security, the efficient Engineering tool "Pro Master" and the appropriate powerful components, the automation meets all the requirements of packaging technology and can cover the complete automation of the machines.
The enormous diversity of variants in packaging machine construction is provided by intelligent software solutions that are based on extensive kits and considerably shorten development and commissioning times. For maximum machine availability, the manufacturer also provides an integrated production and service concept that reduces downtime and can be immediately re-produced without any programming or parameterization effort.
The broad engine portfolio includes compact disc rotors, high-torque drives, which are also available as a kit, as well as aseptic solutions for the food and pharmaceutical industries. Also the Servo motor series DSP, DSC and DSD are introduced, which allow greater flexibility for the customer in drive design. Above all, the DSP motor series is characterized by high speeds and a large torque spectrum. The inverter series "B Maxx 3000" covers the power range up to 5 kW and impresses with its compactness and good concentricity. The B Maxx 5000 is available as a baying system for multi-axis applications or as mono units - equipped with optional safety modules. Both inverters run on the fieldbuses Ethercat, Powerlink, Profinet IRT and soon also Sercos III.
The use of the decentralized drive concept B Maxx 2500 makes sense in confined spaces up to approx. 6,5 kW. This device series has a rated torque of up to 20 Nm, a maximum standstill torque of up to 105 Nm and protection class IP65. The B Maxx 2500 also offers real-time Ethernet communication and integrated safety technology.
