It is suitable for universal use worldwide and its efficiency is above the highest efficiency class IE4.
The manufacturer with the "Movigear" drive system has already shown that energy savings of at least 50% can be achieved with the use of mechatronic drive systems. The DRC electronic motor now complements the range of mechatronic drive systems, making their use even more flexible. It consists of a permanent-magnet synchronous motor and a matched drive electronics. Optionally, the engine can be designed as a brake motor. This makes it suitable for use in climbing sections or hoists. The flange and the output shaft enable direct mounting of a highly efficient bevel, spur or flat gear.
Combined with a gearbox from the modular system, a mechatronic drive system is created. The connection and coordination of all drive components gearbox, motor and drive electronics leads to a reliable and long service life and thus to high system availability. Motor efficiency is already above the highest efficiency class IE4 (Super Premium Efficiency). Thanks to the high overall efficiency of all components, it is possible to save up to 50% of the energy costs for electric drive technology.
The provider's Single Line Network Installation (SNI) technology requires only a single, four-core cable for power and communications. As a result, the cabling effort is significantly reduced: up to 60% of the installation costs can be saved. For stand-alone applications or systems with simple drive functions, the versions with binary control and AS-Interface communication are available. The fourth version of the CAN-based S-Bus system bus enables maximum performance and short response times to realize demanding drive tasks. In addition, the electronic motor can be used as a universal motor worldwide. It covers a wide voltage range from 380 to 500 V at 50 / 60 Hz and complies with all applicable standards, guidelines and efficiency regulations.
