ghvThe Minas A5 series ghv sets new standards in resolution, response time and security. For even greater dynamics, Panasonic's servo drive is up to 25% lighter than its predecessor. Highly dynamic drive tasks, which require a very short reaction time, are the application areas of the Minas A5 series. The speed results from the controller bandwidth of 2 kHz.

The concentricity achieved in this way is z. B. for winding and unwinding important. In pick and place applications and labeling machines, the very high encoder resolution of 20 Bit and the maximum drive frequency of 4 MHz are especially significant. Initially, the A5 series will be introduced in the power range from 50 W to 5 kW. The extension up to 15 kW at 0 to 6.000 min-1 is already planned. Thanks to new production technologies, the compact servo drives have become up to 25% lighter than the predecessor A4 series. The retrofitting of existing systems is easily possible through compatibility with dimensions, interfaces and software.

The integrated connectors on the motor comply with IP 67 protection. CE, UL and CSA marking enable the international use of the A5 series. It also complies with the RoHS directive. With regard to applications to be performed in accordance with the current Machinery Directive, the Panasonic servo systems of the Minas A5 series meet Performance Level D according to EN ISO 13489-1 or SIL 2 according to EN 62061. According to this performance, the probability of a dangerous failure is less than 1: 1.000.000 per hour.
