tox0416Tox has the Drives "Electric Drive EX-F" presented. Based on the basic components such as planetary screw spindle and direct drive motor, the engineers despite larger dimensioned components very compact and extremely fast electromechanical servo drives to develop.

These offer a very high power density. The larger components allow shorter cooling times and a concomitant increase in cycles. They are designed for continuous operation and have an integrated high-precision force measurement.

Five sizes cover a wide range of applications and applications: from type EX-F 005 with a maximum piston speed of 800 mm / s and nominal forces from 5 kN pushing or pulling 3 kN, up to the type EX-F 100 with a maximum piston speed of 300 mm / s and nominal forces of 100 kN pressing respectively pulling 30 kN. Common to all construction and performance features is the possibility of short-term overload in the range of 10% of the nominal power as well as a positioning / repeat accuracy in the range of ± 0,01 mm.

The ultra-fast Electric Drive EX-F press drives are available in the two standard stroke lengths 150 and 300 mm. On request special versions are also produced. One option is IP65 protection and the EX-F servo drives are equipped with numerous accessories such as an automatic lubrication device. The drive units, including the controllers and supply cables, are delivered as ready-to-connect systems.

The Electric Drive EX-F servo drives are suitable for all applications in production and assembly where reproducible, precise pressing forces are required in continuous operation, for example in press-fitting, pressing, joining / clinching, caulking and the like.
