In two-step construction of the lower screw rotates to the left, while the upper screw turns clockwise.

The balanced interaction of telescopic design and low pitches ensures that allows the spindle, and hence the operating table, very gentle and absolutely precisely adjusted - together with a high rigidity and stability of the entire mast. Equally important for practical use is the cycle for lubrication: With 50.000 strokes per lubrication, the telescopic spindle is extremely low maintenance. The two-stage drive unit is supplied as a ready to install a complete system. The upper end of which forms a circular profile piece with bores for connection to the segment table. Down the telescopic spindle includes a multipart socket for mounting onto the chassis of the operating table and an integrated gear for engaging a toothed belt. In this way, the double spindle can be directly coupled to the electric drive of the operating table.
