Bosch Rexroth opens up with its new sizes of planetary winch drives new applications. The drive elements with spindle diameters and inclines up to 75 mm mm 20 achieve static load up to 1496 kN, and in a compact space. They are particularly suitable for use in medium and heavy machinery such as presses, Plastic injection- And machine tools.
Fully electric presses and injection molding machines are entering ever higher performance classes. This increases the demands on the axle mechanics, which have to transmit ever larger forces. Rexroth now meets these requirements with planetary screw drives with diameters of 60 and 75 mm as well as gradients of 10 and 20 mm. In addition, spindle diameters of 20, 30, 39 and 48 mm are available with gradients 5 and 10 mm. The new sizes cover dynamic load capacities up to 544 kN in the smallest possible space.
The design principle of the planetary screw drives allows a high load capacity in relation to the dimensions. Planets with a defined contact profile in a nut rotate parallel to the axis about a spindle. This ensures a very smooth running and lowers the noise emission. The numerous contact surfaces lead to a high axial rigidity and load capacity and thus allow a long service life. The screw drives achieve high positioning and repeat accuracy even with minimal movements. Combined with a servo motor and drive controller, the user receives a mechatronic unit from a single source that moves high forces in the smallest possible space.
