The Tritex II of A drive is currently the smallest fully integrated AC linear actuator on the market. It can be used with minimal installation effort and space requirements for decentralized motion control on machines. The fully integrated actuators reduce the installation effort with an ultra-compact "all-in-one design",
the power supply, AC servo control, digital position control, brushless drive and linear and rotary output in a tightly sealed housing with specially tuned temperature management.
By combining all the components in one housing, the Tritex II AC actuators not only save installation space, but also assembly costs for control cabinets and control systems. Expensive and maintenance-intensive special servo cables can also be dispensed with completely. Since the controller and the actuator are located directly next to each other in the same housing, interference due to long transmission paths for control and feedback signals are also excluded.
For example, the Tritex II actuators can be used to replace bulky ball screws or gearboxes that require a lot of space with an extremely compact unit. Since the previously required space for external controls is also eliminated, the integrated actuators in many cases allow a much more compact machine design with increased availability.
