SPS / IPC / Drives Hall 3 Stand 311
A-Drive provides the configurable linear actuator EKA before, in which the suitable drive for the application and the mechanics are selected from a modular system. The emphasis in the design can be placed on active power, service life or on the costs. There is also a suitable control electronics.
The EKA series stands for maximum flexibility thanks to its universal design. The mechanical actuator is modular and cost-optimized. For frame size 60, there are four spindle types available. Various efficient drive technologies can be selected, all of which are precisely tuned to the mechanics. The manufacturer is following the trend of increasingly using electric drive technology as an alternative to fluid drives. This applies to different user sectors such as packaging technology, medical technology, presses, metal processing or assembly and testing machines. The electric actuators work dynamically, powerfully and with variable speeds. As part of the modular system, the EKA is designed and tested in a time-saving and price-conscious manner, as special solutions are often not.
The suitable control electronics are available in centralized or decentralized design and with at least one common fieldbus system (CAN). In the case of performance servos, the common interfaces are modularly expandable. This allows control down to the actuator level with respect to engine temperature, current draw, positioning or speed history. Thus, a preventive diagnosis is possible as well as the planning of maintenance intervals or a short-term reduction of the number of cycles to avoid unwanted machine downtime.
