Bahr Modultechnik has expanded its product portfolio with closed linear motor axes of the DSM 160 P and 200 P series. The systems, which are equipped with two internal rail guides, allow traversing speeds of up to 8 m / s and are specified for recording higher torques.
The drive unit is a linear three-phase synchronous motor integrated in the axle body. The rotor has as a primary part via a three-phase winding, the track consists of built-in in the bottom of the axle body permanent magnet. A full-surface cover of the guide profile minimizes the particle leakage, so that these units tested for cleanroom suitability are also suitable for hygienically sensitive applications according to ISO 4.
In addition, the manufacturer with the model series DLM and DSM guides linear motor axes with roller or rail guidance in three different sizes with 120, 160 and 200 mm widths in the program. The DLM series with two guideways, each consisting of 10 and 12 rollers, is designed for traversing speeds from 4 to 6 m / s with an accuracy of ± 0,05 mm for travels up to 4000 mm and achieves a repeat accuracy of ± 0,05 mm.
On a guide profile several guide slides can be moved independently with high precision and speed. Due to the magnetic attraction, the force effect between the primary and secondary parts can also be used in the de-energized state as a mechanical preload for storage. All directly driven linear axes are available in freely selectable lengths up to 6000 mm. Standardized connection slots in the profiles enable the rapid construction of portal axes in every dimension.
