Flender introduces the new diagnostic services with the "Diagnostex" series. The plug-and-play solution for measuring vibrations and temperatures reports system irregularities to the gearbox directly via an app on its smartphone and enables service work to be carried out before unplanned malfunctions or failures in the production process occur. It is thus another building block for the digitization of drive solutions.
As an example, the drive specialist will present an exhibit consisting of an extruder gearbox with safety clutch and a condition monitoring diagnostic system, which will then be used in a customer plant. Especially for the process industry, out-of-the-box solutions are available for 30 applications in a wide variety of designs and sizes. In addition, the manufacturer offers gearboxes and couplings that are specifically designed for the respective plant. An interactive model shows the various coupling variants and the associated applications in the process industry.
The product solutions are rounded off by a comprehensive range of services. In addition to spare parts packages, servicing, repairs, and other on-site services provided by Flender technicians, it includes diagnostic services for monitoring transmission status and planning predictive maintenance. Retrofitting and modernization measures also optimize and increase the efficiency of existing production facilities.
