Whether torque density, rigidity, zero backlash, compactness - all previously existing drives should be exceeded in terms of their technical performance features by factors. Responsible for this is a completely new type of transmission with dynamized individual teeth. This gearbox, along with the newly developed high performance motor, merged into a highly compact hollow shaft drive unit with industry 4.0 connectivity.
The high-performance transmission is based on elementary new kinematics. In contrast to the usual in transmission gear drives with the typical line contact during power transmission galaxy generated when meshing with the ring gear a much larger, hydrodynamic surface contact. As a result, galaxy drive technology has achieved previously unimaginable performance data, opening up completely new possibilities for high-performance mechanical engineering and handling technology.
The transmission has zero play and full rigidity even at zero crossing - without reducing the transmittable torques. Since the transmission has more than six times larger internal hydrodynamic force transmission surface, its torques and stiffnesses exceed the values of traditional hollow shaft gearings of the same outside diameter by factors: The max. Torque is + 70 ... + 170%, the emergency stop torque + 150 ... + 300%, the torsional rigidity + 340 ... + 580% and the efficiency + 18 ... + 29% based on the market standard of a comparable size.
