The Harmonic Drive hollow shaft drives CHA-CHA-14A 17A and are an extension of existing CHA-series be 1 dar. The CHA-14A and CHA-17A hollow shaft drives combine high-performance CPU-M gear units with newly developed, highly dynamic servomotors. The torque ripple and cogging torques could be significantly reduced. Operating the drive on a symmetrical, sinusoidal three-phase system results in low running noise and high synchronization. The central hollow shaft can be used to feed supply lines, waves or even laser beams through the center of the drive. This feature significantly simplifies the design in many applications, saving development and assembly time.
The availability of motor windings for different voltage levels as well as the use of commercially available motor feedback systems meet the customer's demand very flexibly with regard to the applicable control technology.
With the new 14 and 17 drives, the CHA series now has a total of eight sizes and covers a torque range from 6,8 to 1840 Nm. Maximum speeds of up to 283 min-1 ensure high dynamics and short processing times. Even for highly accurate positioning tasks, the CHA series is very well suited due to its freedom from backlash. The output bearings for receiving the customer load are designed as flange bearings and offer best parallelism and coaxiality.
