Thanks to their robust construction, SCHWE Pfaff-silberblau screw jacks are suitable for use in difficult environmental conditions. Especially for use in the extremely aggressive conditions of the paper industry, CMCO has now extended its SHE program to include the option "stainless". The SSP series with cast-on swivel plates can be cleaned easily and meets the high requirements regarding corrosion protection in papermaking.
The SSP lifting gear available for lifting loads of 15, 20 and 25 t are a further development of the predecessor series "SHE with cast-on swivel plates". The housing is made of cast stainless steel, which is designed by a well-known industrial designer and protected EU-wide. Here not only attention was paid to an appealing appearance but above all the highest value placed on an easy to clean form.
All components of the SSP that are exposed to harsh external conditions are made of durable and corrosion-resistant materials. The swiveled precision spindle and the bearing and housing covers inside the gearbox are made of stainless steel. Worm wheel, guide ring and the optional end stop are made of special bronze. All DIN and standard parts such as screws and grease nipples are also made of corrosion-resistant material.
The SSP accessories have been revised and adapted to the needs of the paper industry. For example, different connecting flanges, couplings with different hub lengths, bellows made of special material for spindle protection and, of course, cardan shafts are also available for lengths over 6 m in one and two-piece designs for the installation of motors.
