groschopp1211Groschopp offers a new gear called "Angulus" for torques up to 50 Nm. Its construction as a bevel gear contributes to a good energy balance with a high degree of efficiency. Further advantages result from smooth contours and surfaces. The angular gear consists of a spur gear and a bevel gear stage. This construction principle results in a significantly higher degree of efficiency, especially in comparison with the simply constructed worm gears.

This is particularly evident in smaller gear ratios where the new transmissions can reach just under 90%. Translations from approx. 6: 1 to 60: 1 are possible with this series. In the higher range, the values are still around 88%. Here the differences to the worm gear are even clearer. The drive speed can be up to 3.600 min-1 be. This enables the gearboxes to reach torques of up to 50 Nm.
