Habasit presents the durable "HabaSYNC" timing belts for use in the Packaging Industry, They ensure the exact positioning of components and are suitable for stop-and-go operation of automated packaging lines. Special coatings and standardized or individually constructed Mitnehmerprofile allow different transport requirements. Special end connections provide quick and smooth belt change.
There are no universal solutions in the packaging industry. Even if the goods often remain the same, the packaging is reinvented time and again to give the products a fresh shine and appeal.
Among the most versatile and successful products of the provider include the Habasync timing belt. These cover a wide range of requirements, as packaging ranges from filling and film shrinking through labeling to box transport. A large selection of coatings allow flexible adaptation of the conveyor to the respective conveyed material. Additionally applied profiles are used to separate, sort and accurately place components. On customer request, there are drivers in special shapes and dimensions as well as toothed belts with millings or perforations.
The mechanical "pin joint" in the end connectors combines the security of a reliable and stable end connection with the advantage of a quick installation. All common pitches and widths from 25 to 150 mm can be equipped with special steel pins for the end connection. The positive belt characteristics in terms of shape or noise are fully retained. Also, the tooth profile is not changed. In the area of the connection, only the recesses for the steel pin slots can be seen. Even with the surface coatings, there are no restrictions.
The sturdy hinge connection "Hinge Joint" is also fully integrated in the toothed belt and ensures the easiest handling when changing belts. As with Pin Joint, all teeth remain complete and uninterrupted with this technique. The belt can be used as usual. In contrast to other mechanical end joints, the Hinge Joint is transverse and rigid as well as bendable. The integrated processing of the hinges also allows a continuous application of drivers. The distances remain unchanged, the timing is not affected.
