Habasit offers high quality Timing the series HabaSYNC with practical mechanical Terminations for the quick change. This allows the operating costs of conveyor lines through short assembly and maintenance processes such as the timing belt replacement reduce. Alternatively, endless belts can be connected to mobile heating presses directly on site. This significantly reduces downtimes when changing a toothed belt.

FDA / EU compliant coating
The belt widths range from 10 to 600 mm. The timing belts are made of thermoplastic polyurethane and some have an FDA / EU-compliant fabric coating. The thermoplastic polyurethane with a hardness of 85 to 92 Shore A is also a material with very good properties. So it is resistant to oil, fat or chemical agents and hydrolysis. The endless Habasync timing belts are particularly suitable for heavy loads. Spirally wound tension members ensure increased tensile strength compared to timing belts with an end connection.
By using the mechanical end connections Hinge Joint, Pin Joint and PA Hinge from Habasit, changing a timing belt is much easier with less time. Toothed belts with coatings can also be easily joined with the above-mentioned variants, with all teeth remaining intact from the belt.
End-connected timing belts are suitable for higher transport loads. Habasit offers the portable end connection heating press PML-100 for assembly on site. It enables the hot joining of fabric tapes and timing belts. Tapes and belts can be connected directly in the system during a new installation or repair.
