CO2 emissions: mineral casting versus gray cast iron
Rampf had the CO2 footprint of its Epument mineral cast determined. The result is an emission value that is 4,5 times lower than that of gray cast iron. For a 10-ton machine frame, for example, Epument mineral cast iron can save 12.940 kg of CO2 compared to gray cast iron.
