Highly efficient short pulse laser marker for faster markings

SIC Marking introduces the “i103 HD-Laser” laser marker, with which direct markings can be produced precisely on metal and plastic parts thanks to the short pulse fiber laser used. Its technical properties make it possible for metals and plastics to be labeled with even more contrast and legibility - even with less than optimal surfaces.
With the same rated power, the device can bring more and more targeted energy into the material than conventional systems. The material is therefore only selectively heated at a lower temperature, and the area of the zone affected by the resulting heat is reduced. The result is clearly visible: Since the material is not burned or sunk, the contours are sharper and thus perfectly legible. Especially for plastics this means a decisive step forward. In addition, aluminum can now be marked in black or reproducible colors can be produced on steel. The laser's markers are 60 x 60, 100 x 100 or 170 x 170 mm in size.
