Rampf Tooling Solutions presents the brand new flame retardant plate "Raku Tool FP-0590". The semi-finished product made of polyurethane is certified according to the European fire protection class C-s2, d0, EN 13501-1 and UL94V0-2mm *. With its flame-retardant properties, it is particularly suitable for the production of interior fittings, wall cladding, ceiling and decorative elements as well as furniture.
Flame retardation refers to restricting, slowing or preventing a fire and is particularly relevant for public transport. Thus, the new polyurethane plate is especially interesting for the areas of shipbuilding, aviation and rail traffic, in which the European fire protection class C-s2, d0, EN 13501-1 applies.
The material also offers as low a density as maple and larch wood. It can be easily machined manually and mechanically, direct tapping is possible. The good edge stability, high dimensional stability, homogeneous and fine surface structure as well as good paintability and complete water and moisture resistance are further features.
An adhesive with properties specially adapted to the flame retardant plate is also available.
