Whether the automotive, energy, automation or household industries: they are all heavily dependent on advances in the storage and transport of electrical energy. As a result, electro casting resins are a key technology driver in these and other industries. Rampf Polymer Solutions presents high-performance silicone, polyurethane and epoxy casting resins with maximum thermal conductivity.
Electro casting resins reliably protect sensitive electronic components in the car, sensors for high-precision measurement, monitoring and control tasks as well as numerous other electrical and electronic components against chemical substances and environmental influences such as heat, cold and moisture.
With their outstanding thermal conductivity, the resin systems ensure both the efficient dissipation of heat from the components and the maintenance of the required mechanical flexibility. This will enable the implementation of numerous innovative solutions for power electronic components.
“Raku SIL” electrical casting resins protect sensitive electronic components where flame retardancy, high temperature resistance and permanent flexibility are required. In addition to excellent heat dissipation, these silicone resins have good flow properties and offer maximum protection against adverse environmental conditions, vibrations and temperature shocks.
“Raku PUR” electrical casting resins are of low viscosity for efficient processing of complex components with short process times. The tailor-made cast resin systems achieve values of up to 2,5 [W / (m * K)] and, in addition to high flexibility, also offer first-class thermal shock resistance, which maximizes the service life of the components.
Due to their low viscosity, “Raku Pox” electrical casting resins have good impregnation properties. The epoxy systems also score with good thermal conductivity and low moisture sensitivity. Due to their good flow properties, they are also suitable for use in complex components, for example wound goods such as transformers, stators and generators.
The manufacturer adapts these 2K electro casting resin systems individually to the application.
