Fast and easy configuration of complete cable guides: The E-Chain Expert from Igus. With the newly developed online tool, the user can design his individual ready-to-connect energy chain system in just a few steps. The internal division is carried out automatically and the user receives reliable information on the durability of the chain and the cables used.
With the help of the freely accessible online tool, the user can design his energy chain system from a smartphone, tablet or desktop. Whether it is a self-supporting, sliding or hanging application: the configurator determines the energy chain that is ideally suited. To do this, the user simply has to select the unassembled or pre-assembled cables, enter the application and environmental parameters, decide on the appropriate energy chain from a pre-selection and configure it.
Energy supply with a 36 month guarantee
Within the configurator, he can choose from over 1300 highly flexible and tested “Chainflex” cables as well as over 4200 pre-assembled “Readycable” drive cables. These have a 36 month guarantee. On the basis of the specified cables and the application data such as installation space, movement and the environment of the energy chain, the customer can choose the cheapest solution from a range of 150.000 e-chains.
Within the online expert, an interior layout configurator is used. It uses artificial intelligence or neural networks to determine the appropriate interior layout for the defined line pool within seconds. Thanks to an integrated service life calculation, opting for the most optimal system is easy because the intelligent tool constantly checks the configuration for plausibility.
