High rigidity, high payloads and extremely precise concentricity: these features unite the RTB stock from Rodriguez, which have been specially designed for use in turning, positioning and indexing tables as well as for supporting milling or drilling spindle heads.
"The tilt-resistant movement behavior of the RTB bearings is achieved by the needle rollers guided in the axial cage and the large number of rolling elements with linear contact," explains Ulrich Schroth, Business Unit Manager Value Added Products at Rodriguez. "In addition, these bearings offer extremely precise mechanical workmanship that meets precision class P4." The dimensions of the axial and radial rollers as well as the inner and outer rings are designed so that when mounting the bearing by properly tightening the screws with the each predetermined Schraubanzugsmoment the intended Vorspannungswerte be achieved. The tolerances are particularly narrow in order to achieve a consistently constant and uniform performance.
The bidirectional axial / radial bearings are equipped with the integrated precision angle measuring system "Amosin": this inductive scanning system is just as precise as optoelectronic systems and also extremely resistant to unfavorable environmental conditions as well as mechanical loads such as shocks and vibrations. The RTB bearings are available with an incremental or absolute rotary encoder.
The wide assortment of the manufacturer, which includes various components and systems in the area of linear technology and precision bearings, offers many more solutions for the metalworking sector. Individual component adaptations to customer-specific conditions as well as customized special designs are also possible.
