With the appropriate range of parts, the Adaptix clamping jaw save enormous set-up times."

The clamping system is the first universal solution, which can be adapted to any part shape while offering the same clamping forces and repeatability as a conventional clamping system. The need for extensive jaw inventory is eliminated. All finger attachments and clamping materials are fully interchangeable.

Collet for internal clamping of workpieces

The base element can be clamped on the machine table in four different ways. The collet attachment is made of aluminum and is hard-anodized. Two sizes with an outside diameter of 70 or 99 millimeters are available.

The collet attachment users can machine and thus adapt to the inner contour of their workpiece to be clamped. As a result, free-form contours can be clamped safely and gently. In addition, the workpiece no longer requires a through hole to ensure internal clamping. A workpiece with a blind hole can also be clamped via mechanical actuation from the side. The tension control made of stainless steel allows users to see whether it is really tensioned.

The base element has an all-round clamping edge for attachment to the machine table. Lateral flat surfaces allow the attachment in the machine vice. Alternatively, it can be fixed in T-slots on the machine table. At the bottom are mounts for the AMF Zero Point System incorporated in sizes K10 and K20 as well as grooves for positioning on quick-change pallet modules with indexing. The mechanism is protected against dirt and cooling water.
