In machine tools, packaging machines or in plants for the production of food: For the Safety Technology there is less and less space available and for the wiring there is less and less time. Euchner therefore complements the product range with a compact, transponder-coded one Door locking - especially for use on small and light doors and flaps.

Euchner door tumbler

Thanks to its extremely small dimensions of 120 mm x 36 mm x 25 mm, the CTM door tumbler can be easily integrated into the machine design. The elastomer-mounted ball actuator allows doors with extremely small swivel radii to be secured. This guard locking concept is very flexible for the designer.

The bistable guard locking function of the safety switch ensures that the guard locking remains in its current state in the event of a power failure or if the system is switched off. It remains locked if it was already locked or can be opened and closed at will if it was not activated beforehand. Unintentional locking of people in the event of a power failure is no longer possible.

Door locking with intelligence

The switch was equipped with intelligent communicative functions. In this way, the switch can be easily connected in series with other devices from the manufacturer. The integrated interface also enables connection to the ESM-CB evaluation device, which forwards the data to the higher-level control level via IO-Link.
