With the "MGB2 Modular", Euchner presents the further development of the "Multifunctional Gate Box MGB" as an all-rounder for the protective door: The new system structure consists of the module for guard locking, the submodules with operating and display functions that can be plugged in there, and a bus module for connection to Profinet / Profisafe.
The safety door protection offers a revised design, new and expanded functions and a modular structure. Thanks to the modular design, the MGB2 Modular can be fl exibly adapted to the respective requirements of the protective door. With the help of two sub-modules, a total of up to six different operating elements can be integrated in the locking module.
An exchange during operation is possible at any time, as the MGB2 Modular is hot-pluggable. If space is limited, the compact bus module MBM can easily be installed separately in a suitable location. Up to six MGB2 modular locking modules can be connected to a bus module MBM with such a remote installation.
The functionality of the Multifunctional Gate Box MGB2 Modular can be significantly expanded with the expansion module MCM. If the maximum possible six control elements in the MGB2 Modular locking module are not sufficient, four additional submodules are available. These are simply plugged into the MCM expansion module. The MCM is connected either directly to a bus module or as a function extension to a locking module.
