The Basler "Dart Boardlevel" cameras (distributed by Rauscher) are among the few board-level cameras that currently conform to the USB3 Vision standard and offer correspondingly secure data transmission and easy integration into image processing systems. With the USB 3.0 interface, you use the convenient plug-and-play functionality, receive data and power via a cable and a high bandwidth of up to 350 MB / s for maximum utilization of the sensor performance.
All dart cameras are available in three versions: with S-mount, CS-mount and as bareboard. Thanks to this flexible mount concept, a variety of lenses can be used. For S-Mount, there are very cheap lenses. The combination with the low camera prices enables a sustainable reduction of system costs. Due to their small size and weight, the cameras are very easy to integrate into the application. They are versatile and suitable for many classic industrial applications, but also for non-industrial areas such as microscopy or various applications in the transport sector.
The camera offers technical features like 1,2 to 5 megapixel resolution with Aptina CMOS sensors, monochrome and color with up to 54 images / s, low power consumption and low heat development as well as easy integration thanks to USB3 vision.
