Jochen Böselör, Global Product Manager at Carl Zeiss, will speak on the impact of the Internet of Things (IoT) on business flexibility in his keynote address at the upcoming conference.

First time right with freeform bending

Philip Lechner from the Technical University of Munich will report on the current state of science on the subject of the Internet of Things (IoT) at the event. So e.g. B. that free-form bending with a movable die has gained great importance in modern production, as it enables more flexible production.

From single pieces to large series is here no conversion more necessary. However, this process requires a fully digital and automated process chain from design to the finished component in order to ensure reliable production of individual parts at "First Time Right".
